How do you determine label pricing?

Everything we do is custom to your needs. *Be sure to put functionality first!

We’ll need the following to get you pricing:

  • what is your label being applied to?  (i.e.: glass bottle, plastic tub, etc…) – this will determine the face stock / label materials used.
  • will the label be applied wet or with extreme heat or cold temperatures?
  • automated or hand application?
  • size of label needed in inches?
  • quantity needed per SKU or flavor? (we can quote the minimums and a range. *size drives the minimum order qty.)
  • art work / design (colors count…want to make sure we have it as close to perfect on the first quote.)

How does pressure sensitive adhesive work?

Adhesive usually comes in permanent and removable. Beyond that, there are temperature and moisture considerations. If the product will be cold and/or wet, we have specific adhesives to ensure proper bonding.

Be sure to give your sales rep the details of your product surface, and filling process, to ensure the proper adhesive is quoted.

What is a die cut label?

A die cut label is a label that requires special shaping or cutting. A steel rule die is basically like a big cookie cutter…cutting out the shape of the label but keeping the paper liner intact.  The die is usually itemized on your quote, and as long as it doesn’t change, it’s a one-time charge.

What label sizes are available?

That depends on the size of the product the label is being applied to, as well as whether or not you’re automating your labeling process. We have a large assortment of existing dies and the ability to custom order for special die cut shapes. Once you confirm the size/shape, we will make a template for your design team to lay out the art work.

What are some ways to make labels?

We offer a wide variety of label materials, label adhesives, and even release liners. Depending on your needs, we would print your product labels digitally (for shorter runs) or flexo (for larger runs, better unit cost)

Label Stock: We offer paper and BOPP film labels as well as matte and gloss laminate. (Not to mentions various top coats and varnishes.)

How many business days does it take to print?

Usually about 5-10 business days after proof approval.
